Anna-Lena is a proven business builder and leader with two decades of global experience spanning the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Since 2020, she has focused her expertise on identifying, investing in, and supporting start-up companies that address innovation gaps in the portfolios of incumbent players in the consumer goods and services industry. She concentrates on consumer trends in digitization as well as better-for-you, more sustainable and authentic brands.
Anna-Lena was one of eight partners at JAB Holding Company where she was instrumental in developing and executing JAB's global coffee and non-alcoholic beverage strategy, resulting in the global #4 in non-alcoholic beverages and global #2 in coffee.
In her role co-leading the JAB Consumer Fund, Anna-Lena was instrumental in raising and investing an additional $17 billion from some of the world's most respected investors. She has served on numerous boards across three continents, including Keurig Dr. Pepper, Jacobs Douwe Egberts, Jimmy Choo, and Coty. Her prior experience includes Managing Director of Ripplewood Holdings Japan International and Vice President at Goldman Sachs.
Anna-Lena is fluent in English and German and enjoys the occasional conversation in French (Test her, please!). She is a mother of two kids and two labradoodles.
